Deerfield Creek Neighborhood in Matthews NC

Deerfield Creek Neighborhood in Matthews NC

Charlotte NC is fortunate to have a number of outstanding luxury neighborhoods. One of the finest is Deerfield Creek, a joint building venture of 2 of the premiere home builders in the southeast, John Wieland and Hampshire Homes. The outstanding homes at Deerfield Creek are blend of transitional and traditional styles built on spacious tree-filled, one-third to one-half acre lots. The homes take on a look of permanence and stability with their full brick siding and impressive living spaces ranging from 3,000 to over 5,000 square feet. The spaciously functional garages were built for two or three cars.

This community was developed between 1997 and 2006. It soon became a very desirable address. Deerfield Creek enjoys the same undying popularity to this day. Much of the neighborhood’s success is due to the excellent Homeowner’s Association that has kept Deerfield Creek on course over the past decade.

As would be expected for an upscale community of homes in the $400 to $700k range, Deerfield Creek is an amenity rich development. It bills itself as a swim/tennis community, but also has a soccer field, basketball court, playgrounds and an open air cabana to keep all family member occupied and engage in this fine luxury lifestyle.

Children of Deerfield Creek residents have access to the exceptional, top ranked schools of the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, which include McKee Road Elementary School, J.M. Robinson Middle School and Providence High School. The area is also home to one of the world’s largest YMCA facilities which offers many interesting programs for kids and families as well.

No neighborhood would be complete without easy access and a good selection of restaurants, upscale shopping and entertainment venues. Deerfield Creek can deliver on all 3 counts. I-485 is easily accessible as is the airport (30 minutes) and Uptown Charlotte ((30 minutes). The biggest problem facing shoppers is where to shop. They must choose from Stonecrest, Blakeney, Ballantyne Village, the Arboretum, Providence Commons and the Promenade at Providence. What a wonderful problem that can be.

Schedule a visit to Deerfield Creek. See for yourself the lifestyle possibilities the residents are raving about.
