Springfield Neighborhood in Fort Mill SC

Springfield Neighborhood in Fort Mill SC

Just across the border from it’s neighboring northern sister state, and a mere 25 miles from the major attractions and job opportunities of Uptown Charlotte, NC is the lovely planned community of SpringfieldĀ in South Carolina. It is here, where the living is easy and quaintly southern in demeanor. So near, yet so far from those events and distractions you would prefer to eliminate from your life. Here, you can choose from a multitude of desirable architectural styles for the home of your dreams. These are the primary reason why this area continues to grow. There is nothing better then a soothing, relaxed lifestyle like the one available at Springfield to complete your life.

The heart of this lifestyle community is the five acre, Orchard Park, where residents gather for planned activities that are attuned to adults as well as the children. Events that appeal to all segments are regularly scheduled and provide locals with an opportunity to mingle and enjoy one another.

All seasons here are generally soft and gentle But when the temperatures begin to climb, the pools become a point of focus for residents. Three pools offer plenty of recreational opportunities for all to enjoy.

When you venture outside the borders of Springfield, there are a host of amenities available that will suit all the needs of the residents. You will find, within easy walking distance, the Spring Hill Farmer’s Market that begins their season in spring and continues selling great produce through the growing season. The ice cream here is a must. Directly across the street is the entrance to the 2,300 acre Anne Springs Close Greenway and its 32 mile of trails that are ideally suited for hiking, riding, biking and birding. Residents are granted free membership to the Greenway area so they can explore this land preserve on their own. Land preservation and love of nature are common purposes and interests of local inhabitants.

What makes Springfield even more enjoyable and appreciated is its location relative to major freeways. I-77, I-485 and Ballantyne are only minutes away. These highways can serve as a quick and easy pathway from this rural neighborhood to the amenities, cultural opportunities and urban entertainment possibilities of the big city.

Our advice to those of you in search of a terrific housing opportunities is this: Go south, young men and women, go south to the other Carolina, where the grass is greener and the taxes lower.
